Mad Props
I don’t know where I’d be without the internet. I’d have nothing that came into my life after Memorial Day weekend, 1996: no husband, no house, no dog, no cat, no countless Ebay deliveries…but most of all, I wouldn’t have the following people to thank:
Lisa Lillien, aka Hungry Girl, was the first person I found who was really addressing better food alternatives. She also proved to me that the web is interactive – we chatted by email, she sent me promotional items, there was a mutual exchange. Even though I have moved away from processed foods, I have endless respect and appreciation for her and am thrilled by her success.
Ann Louise Gittleman, creator of the Fat Flush Plan, whose book gave me the basic framework for my current eating plan. She introduced me to Flax Seed and Flax Oil and put a nutritional face on the word “diet.” I order her protein powder from Uni Key Health and have had her smoothie recipe for breakfast almost every day since summer of 2006.
There are many bloggers who inspire me every day, like Janetha, Deb, Mama Pea (Sarah), and Lisa, and I thank them for their hard work, devotion, and dedication – not only to health but to sharing their lives for the sake of community. You girls, and countless others (see my blog roll), ROCK!

Finally ….
My amazing husband, Chris – not only is he a web developer (which makes all this soooo much easier), but he is supportive of everything I do no matter how crazy I might seem at the time. Yes, we met on the Internet 10 years ago and every day since then has been filled with love and adventure. He has loved me through many sizes, made me laugh every day, and, most recently, moved cross-country, giving up his well-paying job, just because I thought it was a good idea.
I’d be lost without him.
